Our Approach
Mission Statement
The W. W. Samuell Alumni Scholarship Foundation was formed for the purpose of providing scholarship funds to graduates of W. W. Samuell High School so they can further their education.
Our Story
At it's 40th reunion, the Class of 1978 decided to pursue establishing a scholarship fund to support the students at our alma mater. We formed a committee, set up a nonprofit foundation, and started soliciting donations. We met with the principal and counselor at Samuell, and have their enthusiastic support. The Class of 1978 gave it's first $1,000 scholarship to a Samuell student at the awards assembly in May 2019. This is just the beginning!
